Macbook and iPad Cases by LaCie

LaCie and Incipio have both announced new protective cases for the iPad and MacBooks. LaCie’s latest products, the Coat and ForMoa, are designed for 13-, 15-, or 17-inch MacBooks and MacBook Pros, as well as Apple’s newest iPad. Both of the sleeve models feature a double layer of neoprene for added protection, with an internal soft lining to help prevent scratches. Each case also comes in five different colors including red, blue, black, orange, and pink.
The LaCie Coat offers an inside zippered pocket for storing a power supply or accessories, while the ForMoa provides three integrated pockets and includes built-in handles for added convenience.

Incipio has expanded its line of iPad accessories with four new protective cases, including thedermaSHOTFeatherduroSHOTDRX, and NGP. The dermaSHOT is an anti-slip silicone case designed to guard the iPad from scrapes and scratches, while still providing access to the touchscreen. With the Feather case, users receive a light polymer guard, measuring less than 1mm thick, that offers a soft matte finish. Also included with the Feather case are two surface protectors and a cleaning cloth.

The duroSHOTDRX provides a hard polycarbonate shell covering the back and sides of the iPad. It offers four different color combinations to choose from including solid white/grey, solid confetti/grey, cerulean/white, and black/grey. The last of the four models is the NGP, a soft impact-resistant iPad case made from a semi-rigid polymer. The material is said to be resistant to both tears and color fade.

Both the LaCie Coat and ForMoa are currently available to order from the company’s website and range in price from $15 to $35. The four new cases from Incipio are scheduled for release in spring of this year, although pricing has yet to be announced.
